I am a 37 year old living near Pittsburgh, PA, USA. I
work as a Field Engineer for a Johnson & Johnson Company.
GUNSHIP!:
Been playing Gunship a while now, but also play many other sims/games. GS is not the most realistic sim (for sure) but is fun online. And, the graphics are top-notch.
EXPERIENCE:
Helicopter experience that I've had:
I've had a few airmobile insertions and extractions in UH-1 and UH-60 helos in the army.  These were great fun and some of my fondest army memories.
Also, before I started flying lessons, I flew in a Robinson R-22 --very tricky to fly---light on the controls. One of the main reasons I decided to fly fixed-wing aircraft.
Other experience:
I spent 4 years as a paratrooper with the US 82nd Airborne Division. 81-85. I was in an Anti-tank company that used TOW AT missile systems mounted on 1/4 ton jeeps. I made 30 jumps from a variety of aircraft.
Since the Army, I have gotten my Private Pilots
license and Instrument rating. Hence, I tend to
gravitate towards flight sims quite a bit. X-Plane
has recently taken over my life. I may start to work
on my Commercial rating, we'll see.

FAMILY:
I've been married for 7 years and have 2 young uns. Ages 3 (girl) and 1 (boy).
Yes, it is a life-changing experience
